Mahonia confusa 'Narihira'

Narihira' is a mounding, evergreen variety that will reach 3-4' tall and wide. Its narrow, dark-green foliage is contrasted with yellow flowers in the fall.

Mahonia x media 'Winter Sun'

Winter Sun' has leathery, spine-toothed foliage and will reach 6-8' tall and 4-5' wide. It produces bright-yellow flowers in late winter, followed by blue fruits in spring.

Malus 'Prairifire'

The 'Prairifire' crabapple is a rounded, mid-sized variety that makes quite an impact. Vibrant reddish-pink blooms explode in mid-spring, covering every inch of the branches. In the fall, glossy red fruits appear and persist for months without dropping. This variety gets 15-20' tall and wide and is a perfect specimen tree.

Malus 'Whitney Edible'

The 'Whitney Edible' crab apple produces small, sweet fruits that are great for preserving, canning and making cider. Beautiful pinkish-white blossoms will emerge in spring preceding the fruit set that will ripen in late-August or early-September. Mature size is 12-15' tall and wide. Self-pollinating variety, but will benefit from being grouped with pollinators.

Prunus persica 'Arctic Glo'

The 'Arctic Glo' nectarine has the perfect balance of sugar and acidity. This deliciously sweet fruit will ripen late-June to early July and is highly recommended for home nurseries. It stays 10-12' tall and wide and is self-fertile, though it will bear larger crop when planted with other varieties.

Prunus persica var. nucipersica 'Flavortop'

The 'Flavortop' is a dwarf variety that produces stunning fruit with rich, red skin and sweet, yellow flesh. It bears abundantly large crops, and produces even higher yeilds when paired with other varieties. Mature height will be 12-15' tall and wide. Beatiful pink flowers emerging in early spring add seasonal interest.

Oxydendrum arboreum

Sourwood. The sourwood tree is prized for its vibrant, orange and red fall foliage that contrasts against its long, swaying flower clusters. It will grow to be 20-50' tall and 15-20' wide.

Pyrus communis 'Moonglow'

The 'Moonglow' produces large, red-blushed fruit with a soft, juicy texture. Harvest will ripen in mid-September and crop will be more abundant when this tree is paired with other pear varieties, like 'Bartlett' and 'Seckel'. Dwarf variety will get 8-10' tall and wide.

Pyrus x 'Seckel'

The 'Seckel' produces small, dessert pears that are super sweet with a hint of spice. These sweet, juicy fruits are often used in cooking, canning and fresh eating. This variety gets 15-20' tall and 12-15' wide. Harvest will ripen mid-September.

Carya illinoinensis 'Pawnee'

This cold-hardy variety produces an abundant crop of firm, crunchy pecans that are great for fresh eating and baking. Fruit will ripen in October and is known to ripen quicker than most other pecan varieties. Will grow 20-30' tall and 15-25' wide.

Diospyros Kaki 'Fuyu'

The 'Fuyu' persimmon will produce bright orange fruit that ripens in late fall. Fruit is good for both cooking and eating fresh. Some varieties are self pollinating, but most require a male and a female to produce fruit. Will get 20-30' tall and wide.

Picea glauca 'Conica'

The dwarf Alberta spruce is known for its rich-green, densely-packed foliage that persists through the winter. It will reach 6-10' tall and 4-5' wide at maturity. Keeps a tight, conical shape and is often used as a topiary.
