Tsuga canadensis 'Moon Frost'

Moon Frost' is a striking variety of hemlock, best known for its attractive foliage and structured growth habit. Bright white new growth appears in spring and contrasts against the green, older foliage. Foliage is blushed with pink in winter months. This variety keeps a wonderful, compact shape with slightly arching branches, giving it a softer appearance. Will grow 4' tall and wide at full maturity.

This dwarf Chinese elm is praised for its bark and growth habit. Its leaves appear in spring on short, twiggy shoots, and its heavily-textured bark is exposed in the winter when leaves disappear. Bark with thicken and get more gnarled with age. This variety slowly grows 6-10' tall and wide and is commonly used for bonsai and rock gardens.
