The 'Tamukeyama' is prized for its finely-cut, burgundy-red foliage that keeps its richness throughout the summer before turning vibrant-red in the fall. It has a dense, broad growth habit and will reach 6-8' tall and 10-12' wide at maturity.
The 'Satomi' has reddish-pink flowers and rich-green foliage that turns scarlet-red in the fall. It will reach 12-15' tall and wide at maturity.
The 'Summer Gold' variety is known for its bright green foliage that is variegated with yellow margins. Foliage turns brilliant red with yellow-orange margins in the fall. This small tree will slowly reach 8-10' tall and 4-6' wide, but has been known to reach 15' tall and wide when planted in ideal conditions. Creamy white flowers emerge in the spring.
