The 'Winecraft Black' variety is a striking, mid-sized smoke bush with rich puprle foliage and burgundy-red flowers that resemble plooms of smoke. Foliage darkens as the seasons change, turning almost black before a brilliant orange fall color appears. Will grow 4-6' tall and wide. Flowers will appear in early summer.
The 'Catawba' provides year-round interest, with orange-red fall foliage and attractive, peeling bark in the winter. It is a prolific bloomer and produces large clusters of vibrant, purple blooms that persist through the summer. Mid-sized variety with an upright growth habit, reaching 10-15' tall and 10-12' wide at maturity.
