Carolina Allspice Sweetshrub. The Carolina sweetshrub has dark, glossy green leaves that are accented by dark red blooms from late spring to mid-summer. This variety can reach 8-12' tall and wide and grows taller in shaded areas. Blooms are incredibly fragrant.
The 'Scarlet Storm' produces long stalks of vibrant, scarlet blooms that appear in mid-late spring. It will reach 3-4' tall and wide and makes quite a statement both in containers and small to large landscape spaces.
