Carolina Allspice Sweetshrub. The Carolina sweetshrub has dark, glossy green leaves that are accented by dark red blooms from late spring to mid-summer. This variety can reach 8-12' tall and wide and grows taller in shaded areas. Blooms are incredibly fragrant.
Hummingbird Summersweet. Hummingbird' is a summersweet that will reach 3-4' tall and wide and is great for small garden spaces and low hedging. It produces large clusters of white, fragrant blooms during the summer that attract lots of beneficial pollinators.
This variety of summersweet is also known as sweet pepperbush and produces large, fragrant white blooms in the summertime. These blooms attract hummingbirds, bees and other pollinators. It will reach 6-8' tall and 4-6' wide.
The 'Raspberry Shortcake' is a thornless variety that grows 2-3' tall and wide. Its compact nature makes it great for container gardening. Berries will ripen in late-July or early-July.

This dwarf Chinese elm is praised for its bark and growth habit. Its leaves appear in spring on short, twiggy shoots, and its heavily-textured bark is exposed in the winter when leaves disappear. Bark with thicken and get more gnarled with age. This variety slowly grows 6-10' tall and wide and is commonly used for bonsai and rock gardens.
