Eastern Redbud. The Eastern redbud is known for its vibrant, pink blooms that emerge in early spring and cover every inch of its branches before foliage appears. It will reach 20-30' tall and 25-35' wide at maturity. Foliage emerges dark purple and ages to rich-green.
Fringetree. The fringetree produces large, fragrant clusters of creamy-white blooms in late spring. This tree is quite striking when in bloom and makes a great specimen plant. It has a broad habit and will reach 15-30' tall and wide at maturity.
The American beech tree is a large variety that will reach 50-80' tall and wide at full maturity. It has large, ovate leaves that turn from deep green to vibrant yellow in the fall.
The American hazelnut produces abundant crops of small, sweet tasting nuts that are easy to crack. It has an upright, wide-spreading habit and will grow 15-18' tall and 10-12' wide. Best crop when planted with pollinating varieties.
Sweetbay Magnolia. The Sweetbay magnolia is a native variety that will reach 15-25' tall and wide at maturity. It produces large, white, fragrant blossoms that appear in early summer and attract a variety of beneficial pollinators.
Sourwood. The sourwood tree is prized for its vibrant, orange and red fall foliage that contrasts against its long, swaying flower clusters. It will grow to be 20-50' tall and 15-20' wide.
