Sweetbay Magnolia. The Sweetbay magnolia is a native variety that will reach 15-25' tall and wide at maturity. It produces large, white, fragrant blossoms that appear in early summer and attract a variety of beneficial pollinators.
This cold-hardy variety produces an abundant crop of firm, crunchy pecans that are great for fresh eating and baking. Fruit will ripen in October and is known to ripen quicker than most other pecan varieties. Will grow 20-30' tall and 15-25' wide.
