This attractive shrub has upright stems, heavily divided foliage and showy white flower spikes in the spring. Grows 6-8' tall and 3-5' wide. Its foliage turns from green to red in the fall and is accented by red winter berries.
Fire N Ice' is prized for its variegated foliage that emerges yellow and red in the spring and ages to dark green with white margins. White, bell-shaped flowers cover the plant in mid-spring. Will reach 4-5' tall and wide at maturity.
Chestnut Hill' is a more compact selection that will reach 4-5' tall and wide. It has a dense growth habit and makes for a great low-hedger. Stalks of fragrant, white flowers appear in spring.
The 'Mariblon' has an upright, columnar growth habit, reaching 8-12' tall and 3-4' wide. Its large, glossy-green leaves are contrasted with clusters of white flowers in spring and black berries in the fall.
