The 'Dunstan' chesnut bears heavy crops of large, sweet nuts that are great for eating, baking and roasting. This variety is a combination fo the American and Chinese chesnut and is resistant to chesnut blight. This tree will average at 30-50' tall and 15-20' wide. Fruit will ripen mid-September through October.
The Chinese fringe tree is a stunning specimen for both small and large yard spaces. It grows 15-20' tall and 20-25' wide, offering lots of shade for outdoor seating spaces. In late spring, the tree will be covered in white, elongated flowers that contrast against dark green foliage and have been known to glow in the moonlight.
Cherokee Princess Dogwood | The 'Cherokee Princess' has a broad, rounded growth habit and will reach 20-30' tall and 25-35' wide at maturity. It produces large, true-white flowers in mid-spring. Quite striking when planted as a specimen.
Nantucket' privet is a popular variety used in hedging, due to its dense, upright habit. It will grow 10-15' tall and wide and can be semi-evergreen in warmer climates. White flowers will appear in mid-spring.
Sourwood. The sourwood tree is prized for its vibrant, orange and red fall foliage that contrasts against its long, swaying flower clusters. It will grow to be 20-50' tall and 15-20' wide.
The 'Methley' produces large clusters of sweet, purple-red plums that are great for fresh eating, cooking and preserves. This variety is a heavy producer and is quite disease resistant. Will get 10-12' tall and wide and fruit will ripen in mid-July. Fragrant white flowers emerge in early spring, adding seasonal interest.
The 'Shiro' produces large clusters of bright yellow plums with a juicy, rich flesh. This variety is a heavy producer, with fruit ripening late-July through mid-August. This variety reaches 12-15' tall and wide, but can be pruned to maintain a smaller size. Does well when pollinated by other varieties, like the 'Redheart' and 'Methley'.
