The 'Venus' sweetshrub produces large, white, magnolia-like blooms that persist through the summer. Blooms are incredibly fragrant and have a fruity scent. Will grow 5-6' tall and 6-8' wide at maturity.

Alleghany' is a multi-stemmed shrub that grows 8-10' tall and wide. It has dark-green leaves that are contrasted with creamy-white flowers in spring. Red berries in fall turn black as they age.
