This dwarf variety gets it name from its bright red foliage in the spring that deepens to a rich, scarlet purple-red in the fall. It stays compact and rounded, slowly reaching 4-5' tall and 3-4' wide. Requires at least 5 hours of full sun to keep its vibrant, red tones. Does best when planted in organically rich, moist, but well-draining soil.
This variety has a spreading, mounding habit and will reach 3-6' tall and wide at maturity. It has dark green, needle-like foliage that will hold its color and texture year round. Great option for a low hedger or border.
