Sango Kaku Japanese Maple | The 'Coral Bark' maple is prized for its vibrant, red bark that is exposed in the winter. The 'Orangeola' is prized for its finely-cut foliage that provide a vibrant array of colors throughout the seasons. More color tones will be present if this variety receives longer periods of direct sunlight.
This columnar variety produces beautiful white flowers in the spring, and bear golden yellow fruit that ripens in mid-September. The apples on the 'Golden Sentinel' tree are firm and sweet, and they are perfect for cider, baking and eating. It grows to be 10-12' tall and about 2' wide. Does well when paired with its sister variety, the 'Scarlet Sentinel'.
