Peter's Honey' produces sweet, tender fruit that is delicious when eaten fresh. It ripens well in warm, city climates, and will do well if planted on the south-facing side of a house. It will average 15-25' tall and wide and will bear a crop in early-June and late-October.
Compact Inkberry. The 'Compact' inkberry keeps a dense, rounded habit, growing 4-6' tall and wide. It is a slow grower and can easily be pruned back if desired. This variety can handle full sun or part shade and does well in moist soils, making this a great option for foundation areas that retain water. Black berries will appear in fall and persist through winter when paired with a pollinator, such as the 'Nordic'.
The 'Densa' inkberry is a larger variety that will reach 8-10' tall and wide at maturity. It has a dense growth habit and can withstand full sun to part shade.
