Its slightly curled leaves emerge burgundy red in the spring and age to a reddish-purple as the seasons change. It will grow 6-8' tall and 3-5' wide at full maturity.
The 'Red Rocket' is prized for its vivid, red blooms that contrast against its dark, green foliage. This variety will quickly reach 15-25' tall and 15-20' wide. Foliage ages to bronze-red in the fall.
