The 'Shimpaku' is a very popular variety for bonsai and topiary specimens, but it adds a unique texture when added to garden landscapes. It has an upright, reaching habit and will grow 4-6' tall and wide. Attractive, peeling bark develops with age.
The Swiss stone pine has upright branches and a tight, fluffy appearance. Grows 15-20' tall and 10-15' wide.
The 'Tanyosho' pine has an upright, broad habit with spreading branches and a flat-topped appearance. Tall cones add wonderful contrast. Grows 10-12' tall and 15-25' wide.
Slowmound' has rich color, nice texture and showy buds. It has rich, dark-green foliage and a neat, mounding habit, reaching 3-4' tall and 4-6' wide.
Cleary' is a compact, slow-growing evergreen with dazzling silver-blue foliage. It will reach 6-8' tall and 3-4' wide at maturity. Prefers full sun and well-drained soil.
The 'Thunderhead' pine is a compact variety with silvery-white candles in spring and rich, dark-green, densely packed needles. Will reach 8-10' tall and wide.
