'Twombly's Red Sentinel' has an extremely dense, upright growth habit and will reach 10-12' tall and 6-8' wide at maturity. Its deep, burgundy-purple foliage turns vibrant-red in the fall. Bark turns deep red in the winter.
Has glossy, dark green leaves and white, fragrant flowers that bloom in late spring and sporadically thereafter. A twining, evergreen vine that will grow 10-12 feet. Often used as a groundcover, or for trellises and fences.
