The 'Brilliantissima' variety is known for its vibrant, red fall foliage and lare clusters of red berries in the summertime. It will reach 6-8' tall and 3-4' wide at maturity. A great border or accent plant.
The 'Chippewa' is a compact, upright variety that is great for small garden spaces. It will get 3-4' tall and wide, and produces sweet, juicy berries that will ripen in mid-summer. Berries are great for baking, cooking, fresh eating and preserves. Brilliant orange-red fall foliage and white flowers emerging mid-spring create interest all year round. Will do best when planted in organically rich soil amongst other blueberry varieties.
Compact Inkberry. The 'Compact' inkberry keeps a dense, rounded habit, growing 4-6' tall and wide. It is a slow grower and can easily be pruned back if desired. This variety can handle full sun or part shade and does well in moist soils, making this a great option for foundation areas that retain water. Black berries will appear in fall and persist through winter when paired with a pollinator, such as the 'Nordic'.
Red Sprite Winterberry. The 'Red Sprite' is a mid-sized winterberry that produces clusters of red berries along its stems from fall through winter. It has a rounded growth habit and will reach 3-5' tall and wide at maturity. Best berry set produced when paired with Jim Dandy.
