The 'Northpole' is a columnar variety that is great for small garden and patio gardening spaces. It produces beautiful clusters of white flowers in early spring and sweet, juicy apples that ripen in late-August through early-September. The fruit is similar to 'McIntosh' variety in flavor and is great for cider, baking and eating. They average out at 8-10' tall and 2' wide.

This variety gets 4-6' tall and wide and will produce a larger crop when planted with other vareities. Does best in organically rich soil.
