Duke Blueberry. Duke' is a late bloomer and early-ripener, producing beatiful pinkish-white flowers in late spring and large, flavorful berries that ripen late-May to early-June. It produces consistently abundant crops and flourishes when paired with other pollinating varieties. This plant will reach 4-6' tall and wide and its extremely large berries have been known to grown as large as a quarter. Their tangy-sweet flavor makes them great for fresh eating, preserves and baking.
Magical Moonlight Buttonbush. The 'Magical Moonlight' variety will reach 6-8' tall and 4-6' wide. Its large, white, button-shaped blooms emerge in early summer and attracts butterflies, bees and other pollinators. Does well in wet areas.
Fragrant, rich-pink spikes bloom in mid-summer, accenting the blue-green foliage. Blooms hold color through the season. Matures 4-8' tall and 4-6' wide. Tolerates wet areas.
Vanilla Spice Summersweet. 'Vanilla Spice' is a popular variety of summersweet that produces large clusters of fragrant, white panicle blooms that persist through summer. It is a compact variety that will reach 4-6' tall and wide at maturity.
This variety of summersweet is also known as sweet pepperbush and produces large, fragrant white blooms in the summertime. These blooms attract hummingbirds, bees and other pollinators. It will reach 6-8' tall and 4-6' wide.
Compact Inkberry. The 'Compact' inkberry keeps a dense, rounded habit, growing 4-6' tall and wide. It is a slow grower and can easily be pruned back if desired. This variety can handle full sun or part shade and does well in moist soils, making this a great option for foundation areas that retain water. Black berries will appear in fall and persist through winter when paired with a pollinator, such as the 'Nordic'.
Clusters of small white flowers burst forth in spring, followed by small, purplish-blue fruit that ripens in late summer. Its fruit is popular for jams, jellies and pies. Grows to be 4-6' tall and wide.
