The 'Hosoba Hoshifu' is a variegated variety that stands out on its own, but is quite striking when planted in masses. It will reach 6-8' tall and 4-5' wide. Red fruits will persist into winter when male is planted nearby.
The 'Crippsii' is prized for its foliage, that is golden-yellow contrasted against rich-green. This variety will slowly reach 8-10' tall and 4-5' wide. Foliage is deeply threaded and has a fan-like appearance.
