The Harry Lauder's Walking Stick is prized for its winter appearance, with thick, contorting branches and drooping, yellow catkins that appear on the stems in late winter. They have broadly, ovate green leaves from spring through fall. Will grow 8-10' tall and wide.
The 'Arnold's Promise' has an open, spreading habit and will reach 12-15' tall and wide at maturity. In late winter, its stems will be covered in yellow blooms that emerge before spring foliage appears. Fall foliage is vibrant red and orange.
Narihira' is a mounding, evergreen variety that will reach 3-4' tall and wide. Its narrow, dark-green foliage is contrasted with yellow flowers in the fall.
The 'Fuyu' persimmon will produce bright orange fruit that ripens in late fall. Fruit is good for both cooking and eating fresh. Some varieties are self pollinating, but most require a male and a female to produce fruit. Will get 20-30' tall and wide.
Lovely small shrub with pink stems accented by green and white foliage. Yellow spring flowers emerge before foliage appears in the spring. Upright, spreading shrub that will grow 6-8' tall and wide. Great for wet areas.
