The 'Compacta' is often used for foundation planting and hedging due to its dense, globular shape that stays neat with little pruning. It will slowly reach 4-6' tall and wide. Produces ornamental black berries in the fall that persist into winter.
Densely-branched, evergreen accent plant with a narrow columnar habit. The lustrous dark green leaves are beautiful throughout the seasons. Mature size is 6-10' tall and 1-2' wide.
