This dwarf variety gets 2-3' tall and 3-4' wide and is great for rock gardens, accent hedging and container gardening. It has a rounded, compact habit and its light green foliage is densely mounded. Drought and heat tolerant once established.
The 'Leyland' cypress is a commonly used for large privacy screens due to their size and fast-growing nature. They will be 20-30' tall and 10-15' wide in their first 10 years of growth, but they can eventually reach 40-60' tall and 20' wide. Susceptible to wind damage.
