The 'Primavera' or "Conventional" almond is a late blooming, early producing variety. It consistently produces crops of sweet, soft-shelled nuts that are easily harvested and shelled. Quickly reaches anywhere from 15-30' tall and wide. Will need other varieties planted nearby for cross-pollination.
The American hornbeam is a native variety that will grow 20-35' tall and wide at maturity. It prefers part to full shade and its rich, green foliage will turn orange and yellow in the fall.
