The 'Coral Bark' maple is prized for its vibrant, red bark that is exposed in the winter. Its vibrant, green foliage is edged with red margins and turns golden-yellow in the fall. This variety has a dense, upright growth habit and will reach 15-25' tall and 15-20' wide at maturity. Prefers morning sun and afternoon shade. An excellent specimen tree.
The 'Tamukeyama' is prized for its finely-cut, burgundy-red foliage that keeps its richness throughout the summer before turning vibrant-red in the fall. It has a dense, broad growth habit and will reach 6-8' tall and 10-12' wide at maturity.
The 'Spiralis' is a unique variety with densely-textured foliage and spiraling branches that give it a distinct appearance. It has an upright, columnar growth habit and will reach 8-10' tall and 4-6' wide.
The 'Joey Kozey' keeps an upright, pyramidal habit, reaching 20-30' tall and 6-10' wide. Branches are held tighter to the center of the tree than other umbrella pine varieties.
