The 'Chippewa' is a compact, upright variety that is great for small garden spaces. It will get 3-4' tall and wide, and produces sweet, juicy berries that will ripen in mid-summer. Berries are great for baking, cooking, fresh eating and preserves. Brilliant orange-red fall foliage and white flowers emerging mid-spring create interest all year round. Will do best when planted in organically rich soil amongst other blueberry varieties.
The 'Kleim's Hardy' gardenia is a dwarf variety that will reach 2-3' tall and wide and is great for containers and small garden spaces. Its fragrant, white flowers will emerge in late spring and persist into summer.
The 'Carousel' is prized for its white blooms that are lined with a speckled band of purple hues. This is a larger variety that will reach 6-8' tall and wide at maturity. Evergreen and deer resistant.
The 'Elf' is a dwarf variety that will reach 2-3' tall and wide and is great for small garden spaces. It produces sweet, pale-pink blooms in late spring or early summer. Evergreen and deer resistant.
The 'Little Linda' is a compact variety that will reach 4' tall and wide at maturity. It produces clusters of rich, pink blooms in late spring. Evergreen and deer resistant.
The 'Starburst' produces raspberry colored blooms with white edges that stand out against its dense, green foliage. Blooms appear in late May or early June and can persist for a few weeks. This variety is slow growing and has smaller leaves. Will grow 4-6' tall and wide at maturity. * Mountain Laurel are toxic to animals if any part of the plant is consumed.
