The PawPaw tree is a native of the Eastern U.S. and can grow from 15-30' tall and wide. It produces a mildly sweet, yellow-greenish fruit in mid-late summer that is great for raw eating and baking.

The 'Winecraft Black' variety is a striking, mid-sized smoke bush with rich puprle foliage and burgundy-red flowers that resemble plooms of smoke. Foliage darkens as the seasons change, turning almost black before a brilliant orange fall color appears. Will grow 4-6' tall and wide. Flowers will appear in early summer.
Cityline Rio' is a compact variety that will reach 2-3' tall and wide and is great for container gardening. It produces violet-purple blooms that emerge with lime-green centers.
