Large, dark purple, single form flowers bloom spring, summer and fall. Has an upright growth habit reaching 4-5' tall and 4' wide. Prefers well-drained soils.
The 'Keepsake' mountain laurel has a dense, rounded growth habit and will reach 4-5' tall and wide at maturity. It produces clusters of deep purple blooms that are edged with thin, white margins. Evergreen and deer resistant.
PJM's 'Elite Star' grows to be 4-5' tall and wide. It produces pinkish-lavender blooms in early April. Dark-green foliage turns bronze-red in the winter.
