It stays compact and rounded, slowly reaching 4-5' tall and 3-4' wide. Requires at least 5 hours of full sun to keep its vibrant, red tones. Does best when planted in organically rich, moist, but well-draining soil.

The 'Tom Thumb' is a compact, neat variety that will grow 1-2' tall and 4-6' wide. It has gracefully arching branches that are covered in small, white flowers during summertime. Foliage turns burgundy red in the fall.
