The 'Black Pearl' is admired for its intensely dark-purple, heart-shaped foliage. Beautiful lavender blossoms cover the entire tree in early spring, and foliage appears soon after blooms have fallen. This variety will get 15-20' tall and 20-25' wide at full maturity. They are shade tolerant, but the foliage color will be much more vivid when planted in full sun.
Rising Sun Redbud. The 'Rising Sun' redbud is prized for its vibrant foliages that emerges peachy-orange and ages to vivid yellow and green. It is a mid-sized variety that will reach 8-12' tall and wide at maturity. Lavender flowers emerge in early spring before foliage appears.
Ruby Falls Redbud | The 'Ruby Falls' is a striking variety with dense, weeping foliage that morphs through shades of dark purple, burgundy red and dark green. It has an upright growth habit and will reach 6-8' tall and 4-6' wide. Lavender blooms appear in early spring and fall foliage turns golden-yellow, adding multiple seasons of interest.
