The 'Bloodgood' is a popular variety that is prized for its deep, burgundy-red foliage that turns vibrant scarlet-red in the fall. It has an upright, open growth habit and will reach 15-25' tall and 15-20' wide at maturity. Its reddish-black bark is displayed in the winter after foliage has disappeared.
Produces white flowers with large, sunny-yellow anthers in the center. Rich-green foliage turns rich-orange in the fall. Grows 20-40' tall and 20-25' wide.
