This variety is hardy, disease resistant and easy to care for. Fruit ripens in late-August and will turn a deep blue when it's ready for harvesting.

The 'King of the North' is a cold-hardy, disease resistant variety that produces dark purple, almost black grapes. Grapes are juicy and tart, making them perfect for making jellies and juices. These vigorous vines can get 10-20' long, but can be pruned back to a more managable size. Fruit ripens in early September.
