The 'Jelena' produces copper-red blooms in late winter before spring foliage emerges. It will reach 12-15' tall and wide at maturity and its fall foliage is rich green edged with vibrant red and orange.
This variety is admired for its long, willowing branches that are highlighted in late winter and early spring, when clusters of small, yellow blossoms appear. Can be used as a vine to cascade over a retaining wall or as a mounding groundcover on steep slopes. Will grow 10-15' tall and 4-6' wide.
