Its super sweet, yet mildly tart flavor makes these cherries perfect for baking, jams, ice cream fresh eating, and even freezing for later use. The 'Winter King' is a hawthorn variety that is prized for its silvery-gray, peeling bark and orange-red berries that persist on bare branches through the winter. It will reach 25-35' tall and wide at maturity and is a great option for street planting due to its pollution resistance. Attractive red-centered, white flowers appear in late spring.
Instant Karma' has blue-green foliage that is edges with creamy margins. Large, lacy, white flowers appear in early summer. Grows 6-8' tall and wide at maturity.
Ivory Silk' is a small, flowering tree that keeps a rounded shape and will reach 20-25' tall and 15-20' wide. Fragrant clusters of white flowers cover the tree in summer. Reddish-brown bark adds winter interest.
