Compact Inkberry. The 'Compact' inkberry keeps a dense, rounded habit, growing 4-6' tall and wide. It is a slow grower and can easily be pruned back if desired. This variety can handle full sun or part shade and does well in moist soils, making this a great option for foundation areas that retain water. Black berries will appear in fall and persist through winter when paired with a pollinator, such as the 'Nordic'.
The 'Repandens' English yew is admired for its wide-spreading growth habit and slightly weeping branches. It will reach 3-4' tall and 12-15' wide at maturity. Its attractive, needled foliage grows in dense clusters along its branches.
