The 'Beni Kawa' has vibrant-red bark that is exposed in the wintertime. In the fall, its large, rich-green foliage turns golden-yellow with tinges of orange. Mid-sized variety that will reach 10-15' tall and wide.
This columnar variety produces beautiful white flowers in the spring, and bear golden yellow fruit that ripens in mid-September. The apples on the 'Golden Sentinel' tree are firm and sweet, and they are perfect for cider, baking and eating. It grows to be 10-12' tall and about 2' wide. Does well when paired with its sister variety, the 'Scarlet Sentinel'.
